Bunda District lies between 1o30" and 2o45" South of Equator and 33o39" and 34o05" East of Greenwich.
The District is bordered by Serengeti District & Serengeti National Park in the East, Butiama District in the North, Busega District in the South, Ukerewe District & Lake Victoria in the West. The District has a total area of 3,088 sq Km of which 2,888 sq Km is dry land and 200 sq Km falls within Lake Victoria. As of 2012 Census, the District has a population size of 335,061.
